Job summary

Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is seeking a Full Time Event Manager to recruit, hire and supervise in-store Product Demonstrators, overseeing product prep, training and customer service during openings. The role coordinates with warehouse managers, vendors and demonstrators, supporting grand openings at new locations and ensuring food safety, sanitation and engaging demonstrations for shoppers.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 3–5 years experience in a client-side, branded, consumer-packaged goods company, or mix of supplier-side and client-side experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and ability to coach and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct all activities engaged in successful events, promotion and sales of vendor products
• Communicate strategies and tactics to achieve sales, service and operational excellence
• Support the maintenance and ongoing development of corporate governance framework, policies and procedures
• Collaborate with the District Manager to evaluate event performance metrics and adjust as necessary
• Achieve defined revenue and net income objectives through sales activation, strategy and expense management
• Optimize customer satisfaction/loyalty through improved operations
