Job summary

Acosta Group is seeking an in-store Event Specialist to execute product demonstrations, engage customers, and drive sales. You will manage demo equipment, ensure clean, safe workstations, and coordinate with store leadership.

The role emphasizes professional appearance and adherence to food safety guidelines while supporting client objectives and event success. The position is part-time with limited travel, and requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and food safety certification

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient ability to use and navigate a personal computer and personal mobile device using applications and internal systems.
• Food Safety Professional Certification, Local Food handlers permit if required.
• Physical Demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies in the backroom area.
• Serve, demonstrate, and engage consumers to sell products during in-store events.
• Lead events in the Supervisor’s absence and coordinate with store management.
