Job summary

CROSSMARK in Sioux Falls is seeking an Event Associate to complete in-store food and non-food demonstrations and to learn product details while presenting products to consumers. You will manage event equipment, set up displays, and coordinate with store personnel to ensure successful executions.

This part-time role is limited to about 25 hours per week and requires professionalism, reliability, and strong customer service skills to deliver a positive shopper experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to engage customers and sell products.
• Adherence to food safety guidelines and proper handling of samples.
• Willingness to set up and manage event equipment and displays.

Responsibilities

• Management and maintenance of the equipment and supplies used for events to ensure they are clean and secured in the backroom area.
• When Supervisor is absent, communicate with store management about upcoming events and execution of past events.
• Be the point person for all events conducted in the store and assist other Event Specialists with kits, materials and tools.
• Assist Supervisor by providing leadership and knowledge to the team.
• Possess the aptitude to gain knowledge of the products represented.
• Proactively engage and sell products to consumers.
• Prepare and serve food samples complying with food safety guidelines.
• Set up and prepares Event Table for execution.
• Complete all work assigned and document success stories with photos.
