Job summary

Crossmark Inc. is seeking a part-time associate to perform in-store demonstrations and manage event equipment and supplies. The role requires presenting products, engaging consumers, and maintaining professional appearance in a retail environment.

You will prepare food samples safely, set up demonstration tables, document outcomes with photos, and coordinate with store personnel. The role may involve limited travel and requires meeting safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience.
• Proficient use of a PC and personal mobile devices.
• Food Safety Professional Certification or local food handlers permit if required.
• English is the primary language; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the equipment and supplies used for events to ensure they are clean and secured in the agreed upon area of the backroom.
• When Supervisor is absent, communicate with store management about upcoming events and execution of past events in their store.
• When Supervisor is absent, be the point person for all events being conducted in the store and assist other Event Specialists with event kits, materials and tools as needed.
• Assist Supervisor by providing leadership and knowledge to the team.
• Possesses the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
• Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
• Prepare and serve food samples including raw meats, produce and eggs complying with food safety guidelines.
• Prepare and serve food samples using appliances like microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives.
• Maintain a clean, sterile and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
• Set up and prepare Event Table for execution.
• Complete all work assigned and submit on-line requirements on the same day as Event execution.
• Build rapport with store personnel to meet objectives and complete expense reports.
