Job summary

The Michaels in Exton, PA is seeking an Events Coordinator to plan and coordinate children’s birthday parties and in-store events, greet guests, and ensure a fun, safe, and organized experience while guiding customers to products and services. You will deliver friendly checkout, support BOPIS/SFS processes, and help with store tasks like truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events, including children’s birthday parties and craft classes.
• Engage clients of all ages to create a fun, creative environment.
• Demonstrate and guide party activities, including face painting and related games.
• Coordinate add-ons like goody bags and balloons per company standards.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members; handle emails and calls.
• Support omni-channel processes (BOPIS/SFS) and stock/planogram tasks.
• Maintain store recovery, cleanliness, and safety standards; set up and break down events.
