Job summary

Michaels in Bay Shore, NY is seeking an energetic Event Coordinator to plan and host crafts events and children’s parties inside the store. You will engage guests of all ages, demonstrate crafts, and help customers shop while delivering a friendly checkout experience.

You will coordinate multiple events, adjust plans to customer feedback, handle administrative tasks, and ensure safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at once, including children’s parties and craft classes.
• Engage with clients of all ages to create a fun, creative environment.
• Demonstrate crafts and guide participants; perform face painting and activities.
• Facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons per standards.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members.
• Complete administrative tasks and assist with store operations as needed.
