The Michaels Companies in WOR-BERLIN, MA is seeking an Events Coordinator to plan and coordinate in-store events, including children’s birthday parties and craft classes. You will engage customers, provide fast checkout support, and help with store operations to ensure a joyful guest experience.

Ideal candidates bring energy, excellent people skills, and prior experience with children’s events; strong communication and organizational abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Energetic, enthusiastic personality.
• Must have excellent people skills.
• Experience working with children and children's events.
• Strong communication (written, verbal, nonverbal) and listening skills.
• Good organizational and interpersonal abilities; creative problem-solving.
• Retail or customer service experience required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and facilitate events in-store (e.g., kids birthday parties, craft classes).
• Deliver friendly customer service and assist shoppers; assist with checkout.
• Perform truck unload, stocking, and merchandise duties; maintain store recovery standards.
• Communicate events to clients and store team members; manage multiple events.
• Set up and break down events; ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with omnichannel processes and store operations, including BOPIS/SFS.
