Job summary

The Container Store in Chicago is seeking a Part-Time Custom Spaces Designer and Sales Specialist to design custom spaces and other storage solutions while delivering exceptional customer service. You will lead customer projects from concept to installation, combining design expertise with sales excellence.

You will collaborate with customers on in-store plans, present services like In-Home Designing and financing options, and work to close sales while maintaining strong relationships with

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• 2-5 years of sales and clientele experience preferred.
• Design experience and spatial intelligence required.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
• Maintains professional appearance and dress code.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with customers to design customized plans in a clear and professional manner.
• Drives all services with each customer interaction: In-Home Designing, In-Home Organizing, installation, financing, and loyalty.
• Focuses on closing sales efficiently to build repeat and referral business.
• Leads the sales floor and collaborates with Managers to complete projects from inquiry to installation.
• Maintains communication with Managers and Support Center partners to meet sales goals.
• Keeps the custom space area and visual presentation up to date.
