Job summary

Crossmark Inc. in the United States is seeking a part-time Event Associate to conduct in-store food and non-food demonstrations, engage customers, and drive product sales while managing event equipment and presenting a professional appearance.

You will set up demo tables, coordinate with store staff, and ensure safety and cleanliness. The role offers limited hours per week in a retail environment with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient ability to use a personal computer and mobile device.
• Food Safety Professional Certification and local food handler permit if required.

Responsibilities

• Management and maintenance of the equipment and supplies used for events to ensure they are clean and secured in the backroom area.
• Coordinate with store management about events and their execution in their store when Supervisor is absent.
• Be the point of contact for all events being conducted in the store; assist other Event Specialists with kits, materials and tools.
• Provide leadership and product knowledge to the team; communicate product features and benefits effectively.
• Prepare and serve food samples safely using appliances and raw products; maintain a clean workstation.
• Set up and prepare the Event Table for execution and complete all tasks assigned.
