Job summary

Crossmark Inc. is seeking an Associate to perform in-store food and non-food demonstrations, engage customers and showcase products. You will manage event equipment, maintain professional presentation, and uphold food safety standards while working up to 25 hours per week.

You’ll acquire product knowledge, assist store personnel, and document event outcomes with photos for clients. This role emphasizes courteous service, upselling, and reliable teamwork in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination.
• Proficient use of a PC and mobile device.
• Food Safety Certification and local food handlers permit if required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain event equipment and supplies, keep them clean and secured in the backroom area.
• Be the point of contact for events when Supervisor is absent; communicate with store management.
• Lead and assist team; provide knowledge and guidance on demos.
• Explain product features and benefits to customers and upsell when appropriate.
• Prepare and serve food samples safely using appliances (microwave, fryer, skillet, etc.).
• Complete expense reports and submit online requirements on the same day as event execution.
• Take photos of Perfect Table Setup to document success for clients.
• Build rapport with store personnel to meet company objectives.
