Job summary

Optimum is seeking enthusiastic Retail Sales Consultants to join one of the company’s largest sales channels. You will engage customers in-store, understand their connectivity needs, and promote industry-leading solutions while aiming to exceed sales targets and deliver outstanding service.

You will be a brand ambassador, working with teammates to develop product knowledge and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of retail selling experience.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Proficient computer and technical skills to support customer solutions.
• Some locations may require travel to other stores within 35 miles; interview will discuss.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work full time and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers and create a welcoming store environment.
• Maintain deep knowledge of products and services to advise customers and meet needs.
• Assist with billing, service questions, payments, exchanges, and equipment issues.
• Provide brand representation with professionalism and enthusiasm, aligning with company values.
• Collaborate with team to ensure an exceptional customer experience and backup support when needed.
