Job summary

Ben E. Keith is seeking a Merchandiser to work primarily in our customers' retail locations to ensure brand representation and competitive positioning. You will build displays, hang promotional signs, rotate stock, and engage with consumers and retail staff to communicate our value.

Responsibilities include replacing merchandising material, maintaining back stock, meeting daily with Area Sales Manager, and promoting brand visibility across beer sections and displays.

Qualifications

• Draught experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and effectively use the handheld sales unit.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Able to coordinate multiple activities and follow through with commitments.
• Good oral and written communication skills and participate well in a team environment.
• Must be highly motivated and results oriented, with a strong attention to detail.
• Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must be able to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Fill in for sales representatives as needed.
• Build relationships with retail customers.
• Collaborate with customers to design solutions.
• Sell in new brands through account relationships.
• Regularly call on accounts to merchandise and stock products.
• Promote Ben E. Keith brands at retail through promotions and education.
• Ensure display coverage and shelf visibility for all brands.
• Organize and refill back stock, coolers, beer shelves and displays.
• Maintain designated back stock area and cleanliness at customer locations.
• Monitor stock levels and rotate products to maintain freshness.
