Job summary

The Merchandise Manager at Michaels stores is responsible for driving merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, pricing accuracy, and promotional execution. You will ensure a customer-ready store environment through effective workload planning and inventory management.

Key duties include leading truck and stock flow, maintaining visual standards, executing ads and price changes, and providing MOD coverage.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SOP adherence and company programs.
• Ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Oversee truck execution, sorting and flow of merchandise to floor.
• Plan workloads and prioritize daily tasks with store leadership.
• Maintain in-stock levels, replenishment accuracy and readiness.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support clean, organized, and customer-ready store environment.
• Manage inventory control, product integrity and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets, price changes, and promotional signage.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN processing.
• Manage shrink reduction and asset protection practices.
• Train and develop team members; support TM onboarding.
