Job summary

EDSI is seeking a Work-Based Learning (WBL) Coordinator for In-School Youth to build employer partnerships and coordinate internships, micro-internships, and industry tours. You will work with Youth Career Advisors, schools, and employers to match participants with career pathways and monitored worksites.

The role requires strong relationship-building, excellent communication, and organizational skills. Bachelor’s degree preferred; regional travel 50–75%; some nights/weekends may be required;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, workforce development, human resources, education, communications, or related field preferred.
• Experience building employer partnerships and coordinating internships or WBL activities.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple employers, participants, activities, and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with employers, industry partners, schools, colleges, and community organizations.
• Recruit employers for WBL, internships, micro-internships, industry tours, and career exploration activities.
• Develop WBL and micro-internship opportunities aligned with participants’ career pathways.
• Coordinate employer speakers, tours, job shadowing, and other engagement activities.
• Monitor worksites, participant progress, and employer feedback; report findings to Advisors and leadership.
