Job summary

Red Rabbit seeks a detail-oriented Food Service Coordinator to bridge the kitchen and our school partners. Reporting to the Head Chef, the role ensures meals are served accurately, safely, and on time, while maintaining orderly service lines.

You will manage meal counts and NSLP compliance in collaboration with the Compliance Team, document operational records, and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders to improve access to nutritious meals for students.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in an operational or administrative role
• 1+ year in a customer-facing role
• Strong organizational and attention to detail
• Experience maintaining accurate records
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service and relationship-building
• Proficiency with basic computer systems

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily meal service to ensure accurate portioning and on-time service
• Maintain meal counts and records; escalate discrepancies
• Liaise with school partners; inform Head Chef and District Manager
• Follow food safety standards and HACCP procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
