Job summary

Montage International in Laguna Beach seeks an In-Room Dining Supervisor to lead a dedicated team and ensure exceptional guest experiences in a luxury setting. You will train staff, coordinate schedules, monitor inventory, and ensure timely prep and delivery of in-room dining orders.

Responsibilities include scheduling, inventory management, addressing guest requests, and maintaining Montage's service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in Food & Beverage operations within a hotel or resort environment.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Strong basic communication skills.
• Luxury hotel experience is a plus.

• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to minimize waste.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints and special requests professionally and timely.
• Assist management with scheduling, labor controls, and other administrative duties.
• Ensure all in-room dining orders are prepared and delivered promptly per guest specs.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms to ensure trays and dishes are collected promptly.
• Inspect daily set-up, presentations and delivery amenities.
• Maintain high standards of service and attention to detail.
• Deliver on guests' expectations and create WOW moments.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by business needs.

Your Journey

• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Ensure that all in-room dining orders are prepared and delivered promptly and according to guest specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms hallways to ensure that in-room dining trays and dishes are collected promptly
• Inspect daily set-up, presentations and delivery amenities
• Maintain high standards of service and attention to detail
• Deliver on guests' expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties based on business needs

Must Haves

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

• Computer skills

Physical Requirements

• Grasping, holding, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending over
• Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift
• Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi -regular basis

The pay scale for In-Room Dining Supervisor is $18.40.

The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
