Job summary

Montage Palmetto Bluff is seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead a hospitality team in a luxury hotel setting in Bluffton, SC. You will train staff, monitor inventory, and handle guest inquiries with professionalism to deliver exceptional experiences.

Join a strong culture focused on guest service, collaboration, and continuous development. Prior micros or other systems experience will be valuable in daily operations and ensuring service standards are met.

Qualifications

• One year minimum of experience in food and beverage operations.
• Luxury hotel experience is a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Prior Micros or other systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Train new staff and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for existing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure sufficient stock levels while minimizing waste.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Assist management with scheduling, labor controls, and other administrative duties.
• Assist the Department Manager in the development, implementation and maintenance of service standards.
• Ensure food and beverages are being served in a professional and timely manner.
• Monitor set up and maintenance of department to ensure all side work is complete.
• Interact with guests to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties based on business needs.

Physical Requirements

• Grasping, holding, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending over
• Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift
