Job summary

Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa in Florida seeks a server to deliver food to guest rooms and provide exceptional dining experiences. You will maintain standards, upsell, and coordinate with culinary teams to meet guest needs.

The role requires excellent English communication, strong customer service skills, and flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays. Previous serving and cash handling experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have unexpired Food Handlers and TABC or obtain upon hire.
• Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests and colleagues.
• Fast paced environment requires multitasking.
• Prior serving and cash handling experience preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• MICROS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders to guest rooms and provide exceptional service.
• Maintain attendance in compliance with Omni standards and uniform appearance.
• Provide outstanding service to guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders and upsell when possible.
• Process payments and present accurate checks.
• Assist in orientation and training of new associates.
