Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of food & beverage and hospitality.
• Fine dining host experience preferred.
• Willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong customer service with detail orientation and problem-solving.
• Ability to engage guests at all levels and provide warm, personalized service.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Must report to work on time and maintain professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain service standards and comply with hotel rules and local laws.
• Prepare for health department inspections and safety requirements.
• Answer phones, manage reservations, and seat guests per SOP.
• Greet guests, seat at tables, and explain restaurant concepts.
• Keep host stand, guest entrance, and menus organized and clean.
• Report housekeeping or maintenance needs to management.
• Maintain furniture, fixtures and equipment to high standards.
• Assist with timing of service and ensure quality table settings.
• Respond to guest requests promptly to create a memorable experience.
• Stay informed about hotel offerings and local attractions.
