A luxury resort in Amelia Island is seeking a Dining Room Attendant to efficiently deliver food with quality service. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience, be certified in food handling and TABC, and maintain professional appearance and performance. This full-time role involves flexible shifts and some physical demands.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Food Runner or DRA roles.
• Flexible for various shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Capable of physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb.
• Must be Food Handler and TABC certified.
• Capable of moving, bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects up to 50 lb without assistance; stand or walk in indoor/outdoor environments for an extended period or entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to correct tables efficiently.
• Set up and maintain breakfast buffet items.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
• Deliver food to correct tables according to ticket, floor plan, and seat numbers.
• Inquire if additional service is needed from guests upon delivery and inform server or manager.
• Set up expo line as specified in side work.
• Consult with supervisor on any food delivery difficulty.
• Minimize breakage.
• Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions.
• Set up and break down breakfast buffet according to allotted time.
• Maintain and replenish breakfast buffet items, ensuring they are full, clean, and presentable.
• Secure all breakfast vehicles such as platters, butter dishes, bread knives as directed.
• Place and receive warehouse orders daily, ensuring proper par levels.
• Use FIFO method for product storage.
• Work in extreme temperatures, weather conditions, and around hazardous cleaning chemicals.
• Handle food items and beverages responsibly.
