Job summary

The Hilton Milwaukee, part of The Marcus Corporation family, is seeking a friendly Part Time Room Service / In Room Dining Server to deliver menu items to guests’ rooms with a professional and courteous approach. The role supports the guest experience during an exciting hotel renovation era and requires attentiveness, promptness, and strong service standards.

You will learn menu items, prepare trays, deliver to rooms, and uphold Marriott service standards while maintaining cleanliness and order

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food, beverage, and service standards.
• In-depth understanding of beverages and wines.
• Familiarity with all menu items and their accompaniments and ability to memorize and promote menu items effectively.
• Proficient in English for customer communication.
• Capable of lifting and transporting up to 50lbs.
• Knowledge of room service operations, staffing, and guest relations.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn all menu items in food and beverage outlets and the proper garnishments to execute proper plate set-up.
• Prepare trays and deliver to rooms.
• Maintain complete guest satisfaction by maintaining Marriott service standards.
• Check floors to be sure all trays and carts are retrieved.
• Prepare and deliver guest amenities.
• Maintain all cleanliness and sanitation of Room Service area along with personal hygiene.
• Other duties as assigned.
