Job summary

The Hilton Milwaukee in downtown Milwaukee is seeking a dedicated part-time Chophouse Host to join our team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will greet guests, present menus, and coordinate with servers to ensure timely seating and attentive service.

Qualifications

• Prior food, beverage, cash handling and hospitality experience preferred.
• Proficient in English for menu comprehension, recording orders, and guest communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and explain specials & promotions.
• Record and input guest orders into the Point of Sale system.
• Verbally communicate table numbers and guest counts to servers.
• Escort guests to tables, present menus and wine list, inform guests of specials.
• Collect payment, thank guests, and invite them to return.
• Complete side work and cleaning tasks including restocking and replenishing condiments.
• Maintain self-banking procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager.

We are seeking a dedicated part time Chophouse Host to join our dynamic team and contribute to the exceptional guest experience we're known for. As a Host it will be your responsibility to tailor the Chophouse experience to each guest providing food and beverage services in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner resulting in a superior level of guest satisfaction.

What you will be doing?

• Greet guests and explain specials & promotions.

What do you bring to the role?

• Prior food, beverage, cash handling and hospitality experience preferred.
• Innate desire to serve and ability to maintain service and departmental standards.
• Basic knowledge of food & beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
• Learn table settings, service ware, and menu items.
• Proficient in English for menu comprehension, recording orders, and guest communication.
• Recall and promote menu items.
• Maintain professional demeanor and clean uniform.
