Job summary

Hilton Milwaukee is seeking a Monarch Lounge Cocktail Server to join its Food & Beverage team. You will deliver friendly service in an upscale lounge, greet guests, take orders, and promote drink specials, while upholding liquor laws and safety standards.

Shifts are evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role emphasizes knowledge of cocktails, cash handling, and teamwork in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Includes perks like meals and hotel discounts.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Cocktail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive beverage and snack service.
• Greet guests and explain drink specials and promotions.
• Take accurate orders and enter into POS.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cocktails, beer, taps and premium brands.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, stations, and lounge areas.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
• Handle cash accurately in a self-banking environment.
• Assist bar team and lounge operations.

If so, Hilton Milwaukee is looking for a friendly, motivated Monarch Lounge Cocktail Server to join our Food & Beverage team. As a Monarch Lounge Cocktail Server, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

What you will be doing?

• Providing friendly, attentive, and timely beverage and snack service
• Greeting guests warmly and confidently explaining drink specials and promotions
• Taking accurate orders and entering them promptly into the POS system
• Demonstrating knowledge of cocktails, beer selections, taps, and premium brands
• Maintaining cleanliness of guest tables, service stations, and lounge areas
• Replenishing beverages and checking back regularly to ensure guest satisfaction
• Handling cash accurately and responsibly in a self-banking environment
• Assisting the bar team and supporting overall lounge operations
• Adhering to all state, federal, and corporate liquor laws and safety standards
• Performing side work, cleaning duties, and special guest requests as needed

What we are looking for?

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service (cocktail experience preferred)
• Ability to memorize and promote menu items and beverage offerings
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Comfort working in both busy and slower-paced environments
• Ability to lift and carry trays up to 40 lbs. and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Cash handling experience and ability to operate a POS system

Willingness to obtain required licenses and certifications (TIPS certification required; bartender certification preferred)
