Job summary

FAENA Miami Beach is seeking a courteous In Room Dining associate to handle guest and resident telephone orders and input them accurately into the POS system. You will coordinate with Servers, ensure timely setup and delivery, and settle checks in accordance with accounting procedures.

Responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of menus, liquor regulations, and room numbers; handling payments and tips, and assisting Room Service staff to ensure guests receive exceptional service in a luxury

• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
• Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest and resident’s satisfaction.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
• Maintain complete knowledge of: all liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available in In Room Dining.
• Designated glassware and garnishes for drinks.
• All menu items, preparation method/time, ingredients, sauces, portion sizes, garnishes, presentation and prices.
• Daily menu specials, out of stock items.
• Guest and resident condominium room layout, locations and room numbers/names.
• Manual system procedures.
• Daily house count, arrivals/departures, VIPs.
• Scheduled in-house group activities, locations and times.
