Job summary

RAE Corporation seeks an In-Process Quality Control professional to monitor coil assembly, review documents, and perform inspections. You will collaborate with Fin, Tube, CMS and brazing teams to ensure first-run accuracy and adherence to quality standards.

The role requires strong attention to detail, 2+ years in manufacturing, and refrigeration knowledge. Expect a hands-on environment with calibration duties and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required, refrigeration cert or degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and basic math.
• Strong written and oral communication, attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean production environment and adhere to procedures.
• Review CSF and build documents prior to assembly.
• Monitor production areas daily and support multiple teams.
• Inspect coils, perform spot checks and go/no-go tests.
• Inspect tubing for damage and contaminants; verify materials.
• Verify bearings, expansion mandrels and other quality parameters.
• Collaborate with Fin, Tube, CMS for first-run accuracy.
• Ensure proper decay tests by brazing personnel and floater checks.
• Document nonconformances, drive corrective actions, and training.
• Support calibration and upkeep of QA equipment.
• Provide tools and training to coil shop staff.
• Input tester grades and help develop KPIs for quality metrics.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects (PDCA, LMS).
