Job summary

RAE Corporation is seeking an In-Process Quality Control professional to monitor coil assembly and ensure adherence to quality procedures. Responsibilities include reviewing build docs, conducting inspections, and coordinating corrective actions across Fin, Tube, Build, Expanding, and Brazing teams.

The role requires at least 2 years in manufacturing, basic computer skills, and a willingness to learn continuous improvement processes.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma is required.
• Ability to understand and follow directions from supervisors and managers.
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft software products and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and comply with procedures and regulations.
• Review CSF and build documents prior to equipment assembly.
• Monitor production areas and assist various groups (Fin, Tube, Build, Expanding, Brazing).
• Perform spot checks and detailed inspections, including MPT/FPT gauges and go/no-go tests.
• Inspect tubing for damage, oil, contaminants; ensure acceptable materials are used.
• Verify quality lists and test results; participate in first-run accuracy with operators.
• Support brazing and floater checks; ensure proper decay tests are performed.
• Review nonconformance issues, implement corrective actions, and train staff.
• Coordinate calibration and equipment monitoring with QC team.
• Provide tools and training to coil shop personnel.
• Develop KPIs for grading, rework, leak rates; participate in PDCA cycles.
• Collaborate across departments to gather information for production and QA.
• Adhere to attendance policies and government regulations.
