Zusammenfassung

Amity Foundation, an internationally acclaimed Teaching and Therapeutic Community, seeks compassionate individuals to join our team as Counselor I in our in-prison programs. You will deliver face-to-face rehabilitative services within the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program, helping inmates engage in evidence-based curricula and develop release-prep plans.

The role emphasizes collaboration with CDCR and contracted staff, maintaining participant confidentiality, and reporting

Qualifikationen

• Registered with a DHCS-approved organization and AOD certification within five years.
• Understanding of causes, symptoms, and effects of substance abuse.
• Knowledge of ISUDTP contractual requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Facilitate CBI classes using evidence-based curriculum.
• Conduct classes and individual sessions to develop release plans and make-up work.
• Evaluate and document participant progress.
• Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms and expectations.
• Collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS headquarters, local institutions and staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
