Job summary

H&R Block, a trusted tax services firm, is seeking a year-round Block Advisor/Tax Advisor to prepare complete returns for individuals and businesses and to conduct in-depth client interviews. You will provide personalized recommendations and build lasting client relationships, supported by industry-leading training and technology.

This in-person role focuses on accurate tax preparation, tax savings opportunities, and offering IRS support and guidance as needed within a collaborative office

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• Experience preparing complex individual and business returns, including audits.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED.
