H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a year-round Block Advisor Tax Advisor to prepare complete and accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses, conduct in-depth client interviews, and build lasting relationships. The role is in-person at a local Block Advisors office in Saint Paul, MN.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in tax-related roles, strong communication skills, and CPA/EA credentials preferred. An emphasis on client-facing advisory work and opportunities for tax savings guidance is

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) preferred credentials
Experience with GoSystem or UltraTax software
Experience in a client-facing, advisory role

Responsibilities

Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations
Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and tax implications
Build year-round client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities
Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance
Collaborate with team and maintain a positive client-focused office environment
