Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Software Engineer intern to contribute to a 24x7 global infrastructure and delivery platform. You will collaborate with mentors to develop, maintain, and ship features for merchants, dashers, and consumers.

You will gain hands-on experience with databases, algorithms, and OO programming languages, while participating in in-person summer work at a Doordash office. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent, graduating 2027–2028
• Up to 2 years of full-time work experience
• Proficient in at least one OO language (Python/Java/Kotlin)
• Experience with databases (AWS, SQL) and unit testing

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and ship technical elements with mentor support
• Act on feedback and mentorship from your mentor and team
• Collaborate to solve problems for customers and learn about your contributions
• Participate in intern programming and present learnings at the end of the internship
