Job summary

DoorDash, Inc. is offering a Software Engineer Intern position for Summer 2027 across New York, San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Los Angeles, and Seattle. You will join a fast-growing engineering team to develop and ship features for a 24x7 global infrastructure powering a three-sided marketplace.

You will gain mentorship, work on real problems, and present your learnings at the program's end. This in-person internship emphasizes collaboration, code quality, and learning through hands-on projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a CS degree; graduating Fall 2027 to Summer 2028.
• Experience with databases (AWS, SQL, etc.).
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Proficient in at least one OOP language (Python, Java, Kotlin).
• Experience writing clean code, version control, and unit testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and ship technical elements with mentor, manager, and team.
• Act on feedback and mentorship from your mentor and team members.
• Actively learn about the elements you contribute.
• Collaborate with your team to solve problems for our customers.
• Present your summer learnings during a final presentation at the end of the internship.
