Job summary

RCM HealthCare Travel is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based, in-person local contract in Richmond, CA. The role is full-time or part-time per school year, with a 13-week duration and 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, providing individual and group therapy, monitoring progress, and collaborating with educators, families, and ARD/IEP meetings. Requires a Master’s in SLP and California SBESLPA license.

Qualifications

• Ability to administer and interpret speech and language assessments.
• Knowledge of evaluation, habilitation, and rehabilitation techniques.
• Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to determine eligibility for speech and language services.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide individual and group therapy services for students with speech, voice, and language disorders.
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings to support placement and goal development.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement classroom strategies that enhance communication skills.
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and stakeholders regarding student progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, records, and reports.
• Provide professional development to school staff regarding communication disorders.
• May supervise SLPAs or speech aides (SLP role only).
