Job summary
RCM HealthCare Travel is seeking a local contract Speech Language Pathologist in Richmond, California to provide in-person therapy to school-aged students during school hours.
The role offers 13 weeks, full-time or part-time options with 40 hours per week and a 7-hour shift, onsite at the school. California licensure and a valid driver's license are required.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (SBESLPA).
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Responsibilities
- Plan and provide individual and group speech-language therapy services aligned with student IEP goals.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine eligibility for speech-language services.
- Monitor student progress and determine readiness for discharge from therapy services.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication development.
- Participate in IEP and ARD meetings, providing interpretation of assessment results and recommendations.
- Provide consultation, training, and professional development to school personnel regarding communication disorders.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements.
- Assist with the selection of instructional materials and equipment to support therapy services.
- Ensure compliance with all district policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- May supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants or Speech Aides, as applicable

RCM Health Care is seeking full-time or part-time Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) and Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA) to provide in-person services to school-aged students during school hours. In this role, you will assess, identify, and provide therapeutic interventions for students with speech, voice, and language disorders. The Speech Language Pathologist will collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success and ensure students receive the full benefit of their educational program.
