Job summary

RCM Health Care Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-person services in a school setting in Richmond, California. The role involves assessments, therapy aligned to IEP goals, and collaboration with educators and families during school hours.

The position may be full-time or part-time (4 days per week) with a compensation range of $65-$70 per hour based on experience. Onsite responsibilities follow the academic calendar for the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
• Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by SBESLPA (State Board).
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Position Summary

RCM Health Care is seeking full-time or part-time Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) and Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA) to provide in-person services to school-aged students during school hours. In this role, you will assess, identify, and provide therapeutic interventions for students with speech, voice, and language disorders. The Speech Language Pathologist will collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success and ensure students receive the full benefit of their educational program.

Key Duties

• Plan and provide individual and group speech-language therapy services aligned with student IEP goals
• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine eligibility for speech-language services
• Monitor student progress and determine readiness for discharge from therapy services
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication development
• Participate in IEP and ARD meetings, providing interpretation of assessment results and recommendations
• Provide consultation, training, and professional development to school personnel regarding communication disorders
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements
• Assist with the selection of instructional materials and equipment to support therapy services
• Ensure compliance with all district policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
• May supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants or Speech Aides, as applicable

Education

SLP

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university

Licenses & Certifications

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
