Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services in a Providence, RI area school. You will work in-person with a severe behavioral needs caseload, collaborating with teachers and families to support IEP goals and student progress.

The contract is full-time (37.5 hours/week) with flexible part-time options, year-round availability, and a supportive school team environment designed to maximize student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid SLP license and CCC required.
• Experience or strong interest in working with severe behavioral needs.
• Willingness/ability to participate in safety care training (provided).
• Previous school or pediatric setting experience desirable.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Collaborative team approach and positive attitude.
• Available year-round in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with complex communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Provide direct and consultative services within a supportive learning environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, safety care training, and professional development.
• Maintain accurate therapy records and document student progress.
