Job summary

RXinsider LTD. in Providence, RI seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to serve students ages 5-22 in a year-round, in-person school setting.

The contract role offers 37.5 hours per week full-time, with part-time options considered, and a quick interview process. You will work with a severe behavioral needs caseload, collaborate with teachers and families, develop IEPs, document progress, and participate in safety care training.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid SLP license and CCC required.
• Experience or strong interest in working with severe, behavioral needs.
• Willingness/ability to participate in safety care training (provided).
• Previous experience in school or pediatric settings highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude with a collaborative team approach.
• Comfortable working year-round within a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with complex communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs); collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Provide direct and consultative services as part of a supportive learning environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, safety care training, and professional development.
• Maintain accurate therapy records and document student progress.
