Job summary

Apploi is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT) to work in person with children and individuals with developmental disabilities in North Wilkesboro, NC. You will implement ABA-based interventions, collect progress data, and collaborate with families and professionals to support goals and daily living skills.

The role requires RBT certification, strong communication, and adherence to HIPAA. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, with pay of $20.00–$30.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of ABA techniques and behavior therapy.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and records management.
• Strong patient care principles and practices.
• Ability to conduct evaluations and assessments.
• Excellent communication with clients, families and team members.
• Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA standards.
• Background in special education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Provide direct support to children and individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Collect and document data on client behaviors and progress.
• Assist in assessments and intake processes.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation per HIPAA.
• Collaborate with families, educators and professionals for holistic care.
• Participate in training to enhance skills in behavioral health and special education.
• Support clients in social, communication and daily living skills.
