Job summary

Epic Minds Therapy in Sanford, NC is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT) to work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities. You will implement ABA-based interventions, collect data, and support progress toward communication and daily living goals.

The role is in-person, with pay ranging from $20.00 to $30.00 per hour. A valid RBT certification is required, and HIPAA-compliant documentation will be maintained throughout patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, particularly ABA.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation, and records management.
• Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
• Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments effectively.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide direct support to children and individuals with disabilities in various settings.
• Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals.
• Assist in patient assessments and intake processes to gather relevant information.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral health and special education.
• Support clients in developing social skills, communication, and daily living skills.
