Job summary

Epic Minds Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT) to work in-person with children and individuals with developmental disabilities in North Carolina. You will implement ABA-based interventions, collect data, and assist in assessments under BCBA supervision.

The role emphasizes direct patient care, collaboration with families and educators, and ongoing professional development to support goals and quality of life. RBT certification is required.

Qualifications

• RBT Certification is required.
• Experience with children or individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of ABA techniques and patient data handling.
• HIPAA-compliant documentation and records management.
• Strong communication and collaboration with families and teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Provide direct support to children and individuals with disabilities in various settings.
• Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress toward goals.
• Assist in patient assessments and intake to gather relevant information.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and professionals for holistic care.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in behavioral health.
• Support clients in developing social, communication, and daily living skills.
