Job summary

Epic Minds Therapy seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT) to work in Lumberton, NC, delivering ABA-based interventions under a BCBA supervisor. In-person role with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on data collection and progress monitoring.

You will collaborate with families and professionals, maintain HIPAA-compliant records, and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills in behavioral health and special education. RBT certification is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of ABA techniques and behavioral therapy.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and records management.
• Strong patient-care principles and practices.
• Ability to conduct assessments and collect data effectively.
• Excellent communication with clients, families and team members.
• Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide direct support to children and individuals with disabilities in various settings.
• Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress toward goals.
• Assist in patient assessments and intake processes.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical documentation and records.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and professionals for holistic care.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development.
• Support clients in developing social, communication, and daily living skills.
