Job summary

The Princeton Review, through Tutor.com, is seeking High Dosage Tutors for K-12 sessions in Vernon, New Jersey. This daytime, on-campus tutoring role is ideal for retired or former teachers and others with math subject matter expertise.

You will tutor small groups, meet regularly during the school day, use manipulatives and an interactive whiteboard, and work with assessment data to identify gaps while delivering standards-aligned curriculum. Salary is $35/hour in USD; benefits are not provided.

Qualifications

• Currently reside in the U.S. and eligible to work
• Able to be on campus in Vernon, NJ three days a week during school hours
• Tutor up to 10 hours per week during the school day
• Teaching certificate not required
• Background as an ELA Teacher or ELA Tutor in K-12 is preferred

Responsibilities

• Tutor small groups of students in a school setting
• Meet with the same group multiple times a week
• Engage students using manipulatives and an interactive whiteboard
• Utilize student assessment data to determine gaps in knowledge
• Deliver provided standards-aligned digital curriculum
• Provide quality reports to Tutor.com staff, teachers, and school administrators
• Collaborate with Instructional Specialists to advance instructional practices
