Tutors will work with small groups, meet regularly, use manipulatives and an online whiteboard, and report progress to staff and teachers. A 4-year degree and fluent English are required; a teaching certificate is not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Currently reside and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Available to tutor up to 10 hours per week during the school day
• Capable of engaging students and adjusting approach as needed
• Able to demonstrate knowledge in Mathematics
• Possess strong communication skills with fluency in English
• Earned a 4-year degree from an accredited university
• Teaching certificate not required
• Background as a Math Teacher or Math Tutor in K-12 preferred

Responsibilities

• Tutor small groups of students in a school setting.
• Meet with the same group of students multiple times a week at a scheduled time.
• Engage students using manipulatives and online tools such as an interactive whiteboard.
• Utilize student assessment data to determine gaps in knowledge.
• Deliver provided standards-aligned digital curriculum.
• Provide quality reports to Tutor.com staff, teachers, and school administrators.
• Collaborate with Instructional Specialists to advance instructional practices.
