Job summary

The Ladder Method seeks experienced Academic Coaches to tutor in Los Angeles. This part-time role involves in-person sessions across West and Central LA areas with flexible afternoon/evening hours and occasional weekend work.

Ideal candidates have a strong math/ sciences background, a bachelor’s degree or higher, tutoring experience, and the ability to work with high-net-worth families. A valid driver’s license and reliable transport are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Strong academic background in Math, Physics, Chemistry or related field.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience required.
• Experience with high-net-worth families preferred.
• Familiarity with LA independent schools desired.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, polished, and reliable.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation needed.
• Available for weekday afternoons/evenings and at least one weekend day.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person tutoring in listed subjects in LA.
• Tailor instruction to students' needs and goals.
• Maintain professional, punctual, and reliable conduct.
