The Ladder Method in West Los Angeles is seeking experienced math tutors for in-person sessions across Santa Monica, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, and nearby areas. This part-time role requires 10–15 hours weekly, with afternoon/evening and occasional weekend availability.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree or higher and have a strong math background, tutoring experience, and familiarity with LA independent schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Strong academic background in Math, Physics, Chemistry or related field.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience required.
• Experience working with high-net-worth families strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with LA independent schools highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person math tutoring in West LA including Santa Monica, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, Venice, Marina del Rey.
• Occasionally teach after-school or weekend sessions to fit client requests.
• Maintain professional, polished and reliable communication with families.
• Drive to client locations and manage scheduling with discretion.
