Job summary

Tutor Partners, LLC is seeking experienced middle and high school math tutors to provide in-person tutoring at Los Angeles County Office of Education Juvenile Court Schools. This role focuses on small-group and push-in math support during the school day, with coordination of schedules and materials.

Qualifications include an associate degree or 24 college credits, 6–12th grade math expertise, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or minimum 24 college credits required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience working with students in grades 6-12; juvenile justice or alternative education settings a plus.
• Strong content knowledge in middle and high school math; tutoring ELA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide small-group and push-in math support aligned to student needs during the school day.
• Track and report student progress
• Participate in instructional planning with teachers and school leaders, administration of assessments, and coordination meetings
• Collaborate with Tutor Partners staff and site personnel to coordinate scheduling and materials
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional learning environment
