Job summary

Most assignments run 8–10 weeks with 1–4 instructional hours per week and pay typically $50–$65 per hour; start dates occur throughout the school year.

You do not need to be a certified teacher; coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or specialized experience may qualify, and a diverse range of subjects is welcome.

Qualifications

• 60 college credits preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience teaching, mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or working with children and teenagers encouraged.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and engage groups.
• Professional communication, dependability, and organizational skills.
• Comfort working within school procedures and instructional expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead interactive instructional sessions for students.
• Use demonstrations, discussions, projects, and activities.
• Prepare lessons aligned with program objectives.
• Encourage curiosity, participation, collaboration, and skill development.
• Provide supervision and maintain a respectful learning environment.
• Adapt instructional approaches for different learning levels and abilities.
• Coordinate with school contacts and Concorde Education regarding logistics.
• Follow site policies and assignment expectations.
