Job summary

Concorde Education is seeking independent contractor instructors for in-person, school-based programs across K-12 settings. Opportunities include 1–4 instructional hours per week, over an 8–10 week period.

Compensation ranges from $50 to $65 per instructional hour, with start dates available throughout the academic year. Applicants may come from coaching, professional practice, tutoring, mentoring, or related fields, and do not necessarily need a teaching certificate.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching, mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or working with children and teenagers.
• Strong knowledge or practical experience in at least one relevant subject area.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and engage groups of students.
• Professional communication, dependability, and organizational skills.
• Comfort working within established school procedures and instructional expectations.

Responsibilities

• Leading interactive instructional sessions for elementary, middle, or high school students.
• Introducing concepts through demonstrations, discussions, projects, and practical activities.
• Preparing lessons or activities consistent with the assigned program's objectives.
• Encouraging student curiosity, participation, collaboration, and skill development.
• Providing appropriate supervision and maintaining a respectful learning environment.
• Adjusting instructional approaches to accommodate different learning levels and abilities.
• Coordinating with school contacts and Concorde Education regarding program logistics.
• Following site policies, student safety procedures, and assignment expectations.
