Job summary

Concorde Education seeks independent contractor instructors for current and future school programs. Assignments are in-person at schools and partner locations, typically 1–4 instructional hours weekly over 8–10 weeks, with compensation of $50–$65 per instructional hour.

Start dates occur throughout the academic year. You do not necessarily need a teaching credential; relevant experience in coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or specialized instruction may qualify.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge or practical experience in at least one relevant subject area.
• Experience teaching, mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or working with children and teenagers.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and engage groups of students.
• Professional communication, dependability, and organizational skills.
• Comfort working within established school procedures and instructional expectations.

Responsibilities

• Leading interactive instructional sessions for elementary, middle, or high school students.
• Introducing concepts through demonstrations, discussions, projects, and practical activities.
• Preparing lessons or activities consistent with the assigned program's objectives.
• Encouraging student curiosity, participation, collaboration, and skill development.
• Providing appropriate supervision and maintaining a respectful learning environment.
• Adjusting instructional approaches to accommodate different learning levels and abilities.
• Coordinating professionally with school contacts and Concorde Education regarding program logistics.
• Following relevant site policies, student safety procedures, and assignment expectations.
