Job summary

HeyTutor is hiring tutors to work with elementary students (K-5) in Forest Grove during regular school hours. You will supervise and tutor groups, assess progress, and use HeyTutor Dashboard to document outcomes.

An in-person FBI background check is required and Spanish fluency is a plus. Applicants should have at least an AA or be enrolled in college, with tutoring experience and comfort in a classroom setting.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an AA or higher, or be currently enrolled in college/university.
• Tutoring experience and ability to work with kids in a classroom setting.
• Comfortable working in a classroom and with school-aged children.
• Clear FBI-DOJ background check is required.
• Spanish fluency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and tutor groups of elementary students (K-5) during school hours.
• Prepare area to start tutoring session.
• Document student progress using HeyTutor Dashboard.
• Facilitate baseline and summative assessments when requested by manager.
• Lead tutoring sessions using curriculum and materials provided by the program.
• Create an engaging environment that supports positive behavior.
