Job summary

HeyTutor Inc. is hiring tutors to assist elementary students (K-5) in Forest Grove during regular school hours. You will supervise and support students, using the HeyTutor Dashboard to track progress and administer assessments as needed.

This role emphasizes consistent, in-person tutoring within a school setting and requires a baseline FBI-DOJ background check. The position offers 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with pay ranging from $22 to $28 per hour.

Qualifications

• AA or higher completed or currently enrolled in college/university
• Tutoring experience (great at working with kids)
• Comfortable working in a classroom setting
• Clear FBI-DOJ background check
• Spanish fluency preferred

Responsibilities

• Work with groups of students (no teacher support)
• Prepare area to start tutoring session
• May pick up/drop off students at designated areas in school
• Take attendance and run lessons via HeyTutor Dashboard
• Document student progress in HeyTutor Dashboard
• Facilitate baseline and summative assessments when requested
• Lead a group of students using provided curriculum and materials
• Create an engaging environment promoting belonging
• Support students in positive behavior choices
• Engage with tutoring lessons alongside students
• Clock in/out daily in Deputy for shifts
• Other duties as assigned by the Company/manager/school site
